AWANA AWARDS NIGHT

This Sunday night, May 22nd at 6pm will be our annual Awana Awards Night.  It is hard to believe another year of Awana has come and gone.  Your attendance will be such an encouragement all the Awana children, parents and volunteers.  The children demonstrate their devotion to Christ by memorizing Scripture and using workbooks to study the meaning behind each verse.  Come and enjoy watching the children receive their awards and celebrate with them.

What if next year we have a “family Awana”?  It could be quite different from “how we have always done it”.  You will hear much more about this as we make plans for a September start date.

KIDS IN WORSHIP

Should kids be in the Sunday morning worship service?

SUNDAY MORNING MAY 8, 2011

Parent / Child Dedication Service at 10.30
These beautiful children will be recognized for the wonderful gifts of God they are and we will join with their parents in committing ourselves to helping raise them to know and love the Lord.
We will of course be recognizing our mothers and all the godly women of our church who provide such strategic help and service for the cause of Christ.
Pastor Frank’s message will continue from our present study of Proverbs where there is much said about parents, children and MOTHERS!
